Pittsburgh at NY Giants- Don't like laying big points in the NFL, but...every now and then, it's as easy as it looks. And no, I don't like being on the same side of every idiot in the western PA that I've discussed sports with all week. However, it is aboslutely impossible to make a case for a Giants team that appears to be ready to hit the links, the ski slopes, the Holidays, etc., etc. Pittsburgh's blitz package will have Manning's head spinning, and that offensive line is getting more beat up every week. They haven't scored an offensive touchdown in Manning's 4 starts, and will now face the number one ranked defense in the NFL. He looked like a deer in headlights against the Ravens in our first NFL 4* Elite Play of the year, and the Steelers D is along those lines. On defense, the Giants have only 1 starter left up front, and we look for Pittsburgh (151rushing ypg) to grind out first down's at will against Giants run D(4.4 ypr) that was no great shakes when they were healthy. This is a mismatch. Lay the points. (2* base play)

Wash at SF- Systems tell me to play SF, and this line is entirely too high. Still, I have better things to do than bet money on the worst team in the NFL. (well, the Giants and Cleveland are definitely giving the Niners a run for their money) Lean to the Underdog.

Carolina at Atlanta- Everyone in the world is on the Panthers here. I like the Falcons. Carolina has not beaten a winning team all season, and have really benefited from some lucky breaks the last couple of weeks. Atlanta 8-1 $ last 9 in this series, and 8-1$ last 9 at this site. Last home game for Falcons, and we'll lean their way

I like the way you think. I agree about sometimes trying too hard to see the forrest thorough the trees. Pittsburgh is better in EVERY aspect of the game. The D should create a few turnovers and if the Steelers get on em' early, I can see the G-men shutting it down and mailing this one in.
I smell a few Manning INT's again today and don't be surprised if AT LEAST one goes back for 6 the other way.

G/L on the 'burgh today.

Nearly impossible...

To overcome turnovers in the NFL. Thought Burgh would force a lot of mistakes today, but actually lost turnover battle 2-0. The week I jump in on favorite fun, I get fried.

That's OK, Baltimore last week was my biggest NFL play of the year so far, so at least I did get in on that.
